Miss Wanda Workman told police a nurse found the purse in a Division of Health lot. Arnold Utrecht reported a new girl s bicycle valued at 339 stolen from his front porch Thursday afternoon.
Eldon special school project set to begin soon with a five classroom addition at South Elementary. Mastin Enterprises of Clinton won the bid at 382 232. Voters approved a 115 000 bond issue on October 19 to fund construction and equipment.
Gov Warren E Heernes named Mrs Robert M White wife of a Mexico publisher to the Board of Advisers for the Missouri School for the Blind. Also added were Johnston Sr of Fulton Burney Fishback of Perry and Carter Thompson Jr of St Linus to the board for the Missouri School for the Deaf.
