Bloodhounds Used In Search For Boy

Mercerburg April 2 Bloodhounds from Rockview penitentiary aided a search for 12 year old Billy Clever who disappeared yesterday afternoon while mushroom hunting with his mother in the Blue Ridge mountains of south central Pennsylvania. The operation focused on a section of the range as rescuers pressed on with dogs and trackers. Penguins lay one or two eggs during their breeding season.

Storms Cover Much Of U S Across Wide Areas

Storms spread across the United States with heavy rain and thunder in New England to the Ohio valley and into western Tennessee and Arkansas. Oklahoma, Kansas, and Colorado reported storms with wind hail and rain. Dodge City Kansas noted over an inch of rain in six hours. Winter wheat near Lakin Kansas damaged. Firefighters answered at the University Grill on 630 East Dunklin Street this morning to extinguish a blaze starting in the grill. Firemen described the damage as negligible and under control.
