Bodies linked to robbery

Autopsies were to be performed today on two bodies found hidden on a farm near Lusby Maryland. FBI said the remains may be John R Pardue Sr and his mother Daisy Link Pardue who were missing 37 months in Missouri. The Pardue family are tied to a 1970 Danbury Connecticut bank robbery and two Missouri robberies.

Bridge bids opened for Weltersen City project in Missouri

The Joe N Burk Construction Co of Springfield emerged as the apparent low bidder at 90899 to remove the sidewalk and relocate the traffic barrier on the west side of the Missouri River Bridge in Weltersen City. The Missouri Highway Department said changes are needed to restore two way traffic during repairs amid high bridge use. Bids from Construction Co of Paris, Kirkwood Construction Co of Ellisville, and Central Brides Co of Columbia ranged from 97483 to 113491 with several bids submitted before river work. The sidewalk on the eastern side will remain.
