Joel Allison Appointed City Youth Is Delegate To Conference
Joel Allison son of Mr and Mrs Roy Allison of 100 Jackson Sr has been chosen as one of two Missouri official delegates by the United States Children's Bureau to attend a National Conference on Smoking and Youth in Washington DC April 30 to May 12. Sixteen year old Jefferson City High sophomore, he will join delegates from 14 largest cities and all states to discuss youth smoking attitudes and inform a national audience. The conference opens April 30 with remarks by Mrs Katherine B Oettinger and talks from Colts QB John Unitas and Sen Maurine Neuberger. All sessions are at the National 4-H Club Foundation.
