Missouri legislature enters seventeenth week speeding up work

As the Missouri legislature enters week seventeen of its 120 day session eight days remain with bills advancing rapidly. Another Dollar Fine In Bad Check Case

W Zentner was fined $1 and costs in Justice W B Smiths court today on a charge of issuing a worthless check to A A Blockberger. Charges were filed on the complaint of A A Blockberger who alleged Zentner gave him a check for $5.43 which proved to be worthless. Zentner paid the fine and made good the amount of the recheck and was released.

Three Men Sentenced For Federal Jail Sentences

Roy Nelson Gomer McGuire and Frank Brown were moved to Leavenworth today by a Federal officer to begin terms set at the last Federal Court term. They will start their sentences in a few days.
