Ambush by North Koreans Kills Four in Truck

Runyon's Son Plunges to Death from Bridge

Washington AP reports Damon Runyon Jr., son of famed columnist, died after a 52 foot fall from a Washington bridge. The 50 year old, a reporter himself, arrived dead at a hospital after the Sunday incident on P Street. Runyon began his career 32 years ago with the International News Service and recently joined the D C Examiner as a feature writer.
