Fiery crash kills Rolla couple returning from Arizona

Rudolph Raiha aged 65 and Krestin D. Raiha aged 64 of Rolla Missouri died in a fiery crash on U.S. Highway 66 east of Lebanon. Their car struck a tractor trailer rig driven by Warner Kesser, 39 of Long Beach California. The crash destroyed a bridge and blocked the eastbound lanes forcing a detour.

Pair acquitted in counterfeiting case in Missouri

In U S District Court in St Louis two young women Sherry Barber and Barbara Cox were acquitted of passing counterfeit bills in Poplar Bluff. Two others pleaded guilty and received five year prison terms. A fifth defendant faces sentencing April 28. Police found 2500 dollars of counterfeit bills in a car with the group seeking to pass them in Poplar Bluff.
