A citizen urged timely redistricting after decades of malapportioned wards and counties. On April 9 1958 the State Conservation Commission announced 45 to 50 acres of water in the Little Dixie Fishing Lake ten miles northwest of Fulton Callaway County. The lake will cover 205 acres when complete with a total construction cost near 275000 including administrative buildings and experimental fish rearing pools.
