Alphas Begin Winter's Work at September Meeting
The Alpha club started its winter activities on September 17 with the opening meeting at Mrs. Ewart's home. Each member read a favorite authoress paper, Mrs Harbur led the parliamentary drill, and the session was noted as interesting and productive. The first meeting date was moved from September 10 to 11 because of a carnival. A note promotes Sweetheart flour as high quality, available at Schooler's elevator and groceries in Jasper.
