Jewel Lilly, son of Chas Tally living two miles west of Jesper, was kicked on the forehead by a mule last Sunday. He received three stitches from Dr. Knot. Jasper County Fair candidates were listed that week with Harve noted, including Bo ft. Easterly and Col Phelps, and several county officials.
