Delegates from every Sunday School should attend and be sent to Mr W O Joiner, chair entertainment committee, on Sergeant Ave Joplin.

George F Patterson longtime local farmer died of heart failure Tuesday after typhoid illness. Funeral held Thursday at home with graveside rites at Hendrickka Cemetery by Jasper Lodge Woodmen of the World. Survived by wife Laura Hell Bayles, daughters Gladys and Iren, three brothers and three sisters. born Hardin County Kentucky October 6.
Nancy J Davis mother of Ed Davie of Sheridan neighborhood died suddenly of heart failure Saturday while visiting son J J D Davis at Maplegrove. Funeral held Maple Grove Sunday, burial at Avilla Cemetery. She was about 75, longtime Jasper County resident. husband died five years ago. She left many friends in the county.
The family expresses heartfelt gratitude for kindness and sympathy shown by neighbors and friends during the illness and death of their beloved husband and father Laura Patterson.
The mayor is instructed to enforce the ordinance on cutting weeds and maintaining clean premises. Citizens are urged to trim weeds on their property to comply with the law as stated by Mayor A. W. Laupheid.
