The 10 year old daughter of W H Clouser and wife in Zion neighborhood died of typhoid fever after a brief illness. Funeral was at Zion Church Tuesday with Rev W T Medearis of Lamar officiating. Burial followed at Mitchell Cemetery. Music was provided by Mrs Moore, Mrs Drake, Omer Webb and Charles Teeter.

Dr Woods and family visited Sarcoxie strawberry fields Sunday where Mrs H Fr Puphes and Miss Nell direct one division of girl berry pickers. The site lies in an acre berry field miles east of Sarcoxie with a big tent and conveniences. The girls wear overalls and earn 32.00 a day. Minnie Corder of Jasper is the champion picker of this squad.
Moving Spasms Shuffle Home Plots in Town
The editor and family moved into the Fred Merril house on North Main street this week. J. H. Buerge bungalow was purchased by Frank Crow, who moved into his new home. Roy Radford and his mother moved into the Crow cottage on South Main, bought recently by Mr. Radford. Charley Sullens and family move to the Radford farm recently purchased by Mrs. George Patterson.
