The Bear, the Man and the Flood in the Canyon
Enid Maitland wanders a Colorado canyon with three companions when a bear menaces her in a natural pool. A hunter shoots the bear, saves her, and departs, leaving the woman shaken and half-dressed. A storm brews as she moves toward camp, shadows lengthen, and danger presses from the storm and wilderness.
