Geo W Frost and Miss Nettie B Galloway wed at Geo W Campbells Jersey Street home in a simple ceremony conducted by Rev W J Ferguson of Jasper. A wedding dinner followed as relatives and immediate friends gathered. The bride is Mrs Nettie Galloway, with Flora support from Jasper sisters and Irwin relatives.

Scientific wonder claims Bucklen’s Arnica Salve heals a range of wounds burns and skin ailments. It allegedly cured E R Mulford a lecturer for the Patrons of Husbandry of piles in Whynesboro Pennsylvania. Webb Brosser Co sells the product for 25 cents.
The county board of equalization reports numerous adjustments to tax assessments in Preston Sheridan and Duval Townships. Preston records show many property value increases and decreases totaling a net rise of 1000 and a net fall of 1660. Sheridan and its witnesses list increases and decreases across multiple parcels, totaling 4068 in increases and 700 in decreases, with items of prospective changes in several acres and properties.
Jacob Sutherland of Sheridan township visits the city on Friday to relay that farmers are busy with spring plowing. He is finishing a fine seven room residence and adding substantial improvements such as new fences and sheds on his farm.
J W Buzzard who resided south of Oakton visited Tuesday and ordered the Republican Sentinel sent to his new address in Jasper. He says age makes farming impractical and he plans to live out his days quietly.
