E Lauderbaugh attended the Checotah Oklahoma sale last week and brought back a new horse for Todd Allerton, a 16 hand brown trotter weighing 1250 pounds. The News records a boy born to M. A. Foger and wife two miles southeast of Jasper on the 11th instant and a girl to Clyde Wagner and wife seven miles southwest on the 15th instant. Also note Sharp's big demonstration and spring opening Friday and Saturday of this week.

Close friends of the bride and groom witnessed the marriage. After the ceremony the wedding party adjourned to the bride's home where a supper was prepared by Mrs Ward. Neighbors and many friends extended congratulations amid a warm social gathering in the countryside.
Miss Alicia Wheat and John Burt Ward wed Sunday evening about 6 30 at the patronage with Rev W O Thomard officiating. Attendants were Louise Hughes and Charley Walters.
