Cheever Tiddle of Currstown has received a promotion at the South Texas Lumber Co. He trained inSrnlalin then worked in Towns and Louisiana before joining the companys general offices three months ago. Last week he was named assistant Minister of Mexico border interests based in San Juan Texas, five miles north of the Old Mexico line. At not yet 20 he is among the youngest in the business to hold such a position. He left for his new post last Wednesday.
