J E Campbell bought a sorghum mill in Miami last week and plans to move it to Jasper to install on the Follmer place on West Grand Avenue. Farmers in the area are planting substantial cane this spring with more fields expected this coming month.
Dr Knott departed Wednesday morning to spend a week with relatives in Illinois and Keokuk Iowa. He plans to return about the sixth instant.
