Mrs J. Allen wife of Judge Allen of Lamar committed suicide last Wednesday by tying a noose from flour sacks to a door in her home. She left a lawn swing then returned to the house and was found dead by her husband. The Allens had lived in Lamar since 1991 after moving from Kentucky.
A.A. Fel ton of Harrisville New York praises Dr King’s New Life Pills as just exactly right after years of use. The remedy is described as safe for constipation and malaria relief, sold by Webb Bros. drug store.
