A press dispatch reports Perrin the bank president and Miss Jeasie Martin cashier of Commercial State Bank Mount Washington Missouri were locked in the bank vault by robbers who escaped with 1000. Miss Martin’s Jasper friends rejoice she escaped with no serious injury. Details are unavailable. Miss Mary Serafini youngest daughter of P Serafini a prominent farmer near Jasper married Arley Williams son of Nelson Williams of Carterville on Thursday evening in Carthage. Bride wore white crepe de chine with silver lace. A bountiful supper followed at the bride’s parents home with relatives of both families present.

Prof I C Wilkins from Springfield announces the birth of a baby girl Friday July 6, celebrated by the Wilkins family. A daughter born to Guy P Norris and wife of Ashland Nebraska Thursday July 5, named Emily Iris.
