Public reception for former pastors at Methodist church
Last Thursday night the Methodist church hosted a public reception for Rev. T. E. Prall of Jasper Missouri and Rev. Jansom of Nebraska and their families. Prall led prayer, social time followed, Senneff welcomed guests, L. D. Talmadge spoke for older members, Miss Bessie Fowler for the young people. Reflections by Prall and Jansom and Prall’s musical selections delighted attendees. Refreshments of cake and coffee were served and the gathering stayed late in Shell City.
New Baker at Campbell's Employed This Week
Campbell's hires Walter Searle a baker from Lumor with long experience in the trade. Jim Clark leaves as cook to take a position elsewhere.
