Jury Brings In Not Guilty Verdict In Whiskey Case
The state charged Wm Rigney and Joseph Hopper of Neck City with selling whiskey on Sunday. In Jasper before Justice Dodd the jury of six acquitted Rigney after about 15 minutes, with Hopper not charged on any counts. Prosecutor H F Bright urged a verdict of guilty on five counts.
