Jackson Club House Remodeling Underway in Jackson
Carpenters began work Monday on the Jackson Club House hall. A wide stairway is built on the north end with a double top entrance and two rooms upstairs to serve as lunch and cloak rooms. The old stairway is torn out and the dance floor extended, a new hardwood floor installed, and a sounding box for music added. The outlay is minimal, aided by Fuller orchestra members Mr and Mrs Fuller Ray Reed and Lester Leek contributing services to help pay for the floor. A benefit basket dance is planned for Friday night October 1, proceeds to offset remodeling costs. The management hopes patrons will support the event and baskets auction.
