A government park service and railroad reps meeting was slated for last Monday night. Jackson’s residents reportedly oppose any park extension. W. C. Wagon accident injures Liyle Hearie on Flat Creek hill
Liyle Hearie, son of Matt Henrie, was severely injured Tuesday afternoon when a wagon loaded with camp outfit tipped on a steep hill near Flat Creek and Cal Carrington ranch. Hearie suffered a deep wound to his right leg plus scratches and bruises, sidelining him for a time. Carrington, also on the wagon, was crushed.

Fatal Accident Near Wilson Claims Young Lad
A fatal accidental shotgun discharge occurred Friday afternoon at the home of John Mangum seven miles north of Wilson, killing Darwin, a six year old boy. He was alone with a younger brother when the gun fired, the load entering his chest and his burial occurred Saturday in Fleming cemetery.
