Executive Committee clears brand book and new fees
The Executive Committee of the Tackeon's Hole Cattle and Horse Association met in Jackson on Friday night. They announced the new brand book is ready for distribution and can be obtained from E. P. Bille. They levied five cents each for general expenses and five cents for the bounty fund per head of cattle, excluding beef already ready for shipment. Surgery for Appendicitis Saves B D Sheffield
B D Sheffield suffered a sudden acute attack of appendicitis last Friday night. Dr Huff called in early morning and decided immediate operation was necessary. He was taken to St. John's Hospital at Jackson and placed on the operating table Saturday afternoon. The operation was successful and he has been doing nicely since.

Red Cross Chapter Organized In Jackson Hole
The Jacksons Hole Chapter of the American Red Cross was organized last Friday at the Club House in Jaskeen with officers Chas W Hult chairman E P Bilis secretary Rob N Miller treasurer and Harry Wagner finance chief. Branches will form in districts where enough members exist with local chapters handling funds under Jackson headquarters. A benefit dance and supper followed the meeting as valley residents sign up members amid a growing campaign. About one to two hundred residents have joined and more districts begin campaigns. join by sending name and one dollar to officers.

Thrift stamps cost 25 cents and war savings stamps 4.12 to 4.23, with exchanges possible for a War savings certificate. Frances Tanner Suffering Severe Appendicitis at St John’s
Miss Frances Tanner daughter of Mr and Mrs Frank Tanner was brought to St John’s Hospital last Thursday night with a severe attack of appendicitis.
