Teachers' Institute Second Session At Jackson
A second session of the Jacksons Teachers Institute was held last Friday March 17 in the W O W Hall with both morning and afternoon programs as printed. Two omissions were the male quartette and Mrs Lorton's reading. Many addresses followed by informal discussions engaged teachers and patrons of Wilson and Cheney schools. Mr Minear of Cheney spoke on Military Training in Our Schools noting state provision of outfits for new classes above the sixth grade. He provided proof of how uniforms could be obtained. A letter from the state board of education on textbooks was read and discussed with many supporting a uniform set of books. A sale or lease notice for 420 acres of land in Zenith Wyoming appeared in the same column.
