Local Town Notes From A Busy Weekend

Wilson News My and Mes Tom Sewell visited town last week. W Ilenhomer traveled with tourists en route to Shires ranch. Lee Cover arrived from his ranch on Sunday. A horse incident left a rider bruised and the horse injured. Mrs. John Kaufman left for Salt Lake City. Ward reports a poisoned heifer. Angus Powell came from Teton. Mrs. George Goodrick visited Mire G Linn. Tom Jump, Mrs. Mike Yoko, and S. Cheney with children were in town. Ranchers near the canal area observed activity by the river.

Local residents return from travels and town scenes

Porter Simpson returned Wednesday from Lew Loems lanc after a visit. Paul Impson and children came back to their home at Hoback and Snake rivers Monday after a week in town. Karl Simpson of Elk visited midweek. Grandma Kates returned Monday evening after months away in Ashton. Mrs. Dodson at Diamondville spent the time there. Richard Mayers bought property south of Otho Wililemar, plans a house and stable. Roy Van Vieck fences Wen sores purchased from J P Simpson. Lee Cover of Wilson was in Jackson on business last Saturday. Charles Hedrick traveled from Spread Creek ranch to town for the day.

Mint mail contract awarded to Victor post route details

The contract outlines Victor area mail service from June 16 1918 to June 1919. It covers first to third class mail, regular trips with six days running time, and extra trips up to 2000 pounds. Payment based on mail carried, with rates of 43,500 per annum for regular six days a week service and per 100 tons for extra trips between Victor, Wilson, and Jackson.
