Bills approved including Jackson's Hole Courier publishing costs and street work. H M Miyas resigns as town marshal. J Wort appointed interim marshal at 15 dollars monthly. Bridge repairs discussed. plan to build new bridge approved and overseen by street and alley committee. Vaccination time noted for Jack Damigt injured in an ax accident. expects several stitches and week or two of limited use. For sale two work teams 1200 and 1100 lbs. Indies of the Pure Food Club to guest Mr. Guy Germain Friday afternoon. Jessie DeViney arrives to care for Mr. Speer. Don’s big dance at Chub House July 2.
Arnold named to judge the Third Judicial District to fill the unexpired term of the late Judge David M. Craig. The 57 year old, a former clerk and prosecuting attorney in Lunt County, has resided in Eventon with his minister father. The appointment by Governor Kendrick is effective immediately and covers Lincoln Sweetwater and Uinta counties.

Carpenter visiting from the Lake, Oscar Wheeler and family heading to Montana via the Park, Ire May filing on a homestead near the Homey place south of Gros Ventre, Sem Smith returning home, Ben Goe and Hilly Baxter visiting Valley View, Anhur Mahon nursing a sore hand raising blood poisoning risk, George Gunther stopping at Valley View en route to the con deminos, Vivien Smith leaving for Salt Lake City to stay with Dr Jurid’s family, William Wilson family visiting from Ogden and planning Yellowstone Park, Bay Ely visiting from his ranch with his sister Georgis.
A case filed by residents from Granite Breck with RT Beenst and Frank Wilhelm accuses the warden and deputy of unlawful acts. The defendants pleaded not guilty and are scheduled for trial on July 24.
Rev. Carl Fisher a Baptist colporteur wagon 02 arrived from Evanston after a trip through the Hobadk canon for a brief visit with Rev. and Mrs. Baxter. He previously conducted missionary work with the Baxters in Utah six years ago and returned via the Gros Ventre.
The L. 1.8 plans a large event in Freason on Friday July 23 starting at 10 am with a parade and children’s program. A long list of activities and a joyous afternoon follow, inviting all to attend with dinner and merriment.
A park robbery fifteen miles from the western park entrance left five stage coaches robbed of money and jewelry. Three bandits were reported. two suspects were arrested. Soldiers were sent to the scene and the Jackson Hole area is suspected. Nearby, Jackson ball team members traveled to Elk and Moran with a ladies party that supported a successful outing. Local residents and visitors share a patchwork of names and visits, while an all night dance was planned at the Club Houre duly Bird.
A local eye sight specialist will be at the Hotel In Kelly Thorntay on Friday and Wednesday in July 2028. People needing glasses adjustments or eye examinations are invited to attend. No extra charge for these filtrations.
A special meeting of the electors of Sehoot district New was held to settle bids for a hive project. The board authorized awarding to one bidder and, after further discussion, the Larson brothers were awarded the contract for 6082.00.
Mr and Mrs Eph Johnson were in town Sunday. Killpack of the View Tor Hotel passed Wilton en route to Bar Bar ranch earlier in the week. Mrs Elijah Ward and Mise Ward visited Jackson with Mrs Enoch Ferrin. Olle Van Winkle, Mrs O Linn, Fay Goodrich, and Will Scott appeared in town. A mother bear and two cubs were sighted along the foothills. Louis Fleming and the Covers moved to town last week. Stimpson and Lizate visited the Young ranch with Grave Young.
