Arnold Appointed Judge in Third Judicial District
Arnold named to judge the Third Judicial District to fill the unexpired term of the late Judge David M. Craig. The 57 year old, a former clerk and prosecuting attorney in Lunt County, has resided in Eventon with his minister father. The appointment by Governor Kendrick is effective immediately and covers Lincoln Sweetwater and Uinta counties.

Park Hold-Up Report From Last Friday
A park robbery fifteen miles from the western park entrance left five stage coaches robbed of money and jewelry. Three bandits were reported. two suspects were arrested. Soldiers were sent to the scene and the Jackson Hole area is suspected. Nearby, Jackson ball team members traveled to Elk and Moran with a ladies party that supported a successful outing.
