Valley State Game Warden Aids Effort In Elk Case

State Game Warden P Wilson spent several days in the valley last week safeguarding game interests. He escorted Taylor toward the upper country to face unknown charges related to elk killings while awaiting trial, with future actions likely to be handled in Kemmerer. Wilson plans a return to the valley amid ongoing matters. Rev T A Wallace travels for Baptist Society duties. Mrs Henry Lingenfelter and Mary join John Lingenfelter at a ranch near Zouith.

Camp Fire Girls Visit Jackson From Putatelio

Camp Fire Girls from Putatelio traveled to Jackson via camp wagons, after touring Yellowstone and returning through the valley. Seventeen girls under Pat Coteman led by Mr. Elliott enjoyed a bright visit. Ogden attorney Mr. Gary and Judge W. H. Reader joined as guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Miller.

Indigestion Sends Woman to Idaho Falls for Treatment

Mise Lintie Simpeon, who had acute indigestion, was taken to Idaho Falls by wagon and then moved toward Idaho Falls and the Grant Young ranch on the Snake River. She remained better Thursday morning and was placed on a train to Idaho Falls for medical examination and possible operation. Friends hope for a swift and mild recovery.

Reed family returns to ranch after hotel stay

Charles Reed and family left the Heed Hotel for their ranch on Shake river early this week. J B Ripplinger advertised a complete line of cloths and tailored mens suits. Dallas left for the Gros Ventre Territory Monday. Mr and Mrs J B VanViesk and Stella planned a several day country trip. Mrs Lucy Cowan of Kelly was down Saturday. Mrs J J Carter from Chaney on business Thursday. W J Kelly visited from Kelly on Wednesday.

Lost gelding advertised with endorsements and rewards

One very dark gray gelding, 3 years old, branded on the left shoulder, reached mane, shod on all feet with new shoes. Suitable reward offered. Notify B. R. Wonlard, Cheney, Wye, Miles Annie Johnsos, of Ogden, who has been working at the Reed Hove! was so unfortunate as to fun. Funty nail into her foot this week and is suffering from blood poisoning. Miss Lyons, of Belt Lake City, sister of Paul Lyons, of Teton, staying at Reed Hotel for ten days for tetera. Mrs J. W. Wyoming 1914 mineral production figures from USGS

The United States Geological Survey reports Wyoming produced gold silver and copper totaling 97257 in 1914. Atlantic City district in Fremont County led output with bullion and ore, while Hartville and Kik Mountain districts shipped copper. A placer gold crop appeared in Crook County and plans for amalgamation tests in Seminoe area aim to reopen gold prospects in 1915.

Plainspoken Hill Country Visitors and Arrivals

Joel Saunders comes from Flat Creek while John Wilson arrives from Cheney on Monday. Frank Melride and spouse of Zavith visit Jackson on Saturday. Dr. Carncross and Bar B tourists were in town last Sunday. A large party of eastern tourists is expected at the ranch tide week. Mrs G Horton and Mrs Hulden Harstow with child arrive from Afton to visit relatives. Mr. Lee Luces meets them at Victor. Nipper won hay contract for Seelemire ranch. Milton Robinson travels from Upper Gros Ventre for a Jackson stay. George Ritter and Master are seen from Tue Creek Thursday.

Mr Guy Goodrick plans to return in two of three weeks while Lois Fleming Ollie and Dewey Var Winkle were seen in town Bay day breaking colts. Mrs Charles Drinkell spent days in Wilson with friends. Nellie Goodrick visits sister Mire Alvin Johnston in Victor. Mose Glitner and Paw and Al Lynn were in town midweek. Winslow from his ranch and Uncle Nick Wilson shown in town. Koceh Ferrin of Jackson passed through. Farmers begin haying while others await growth. Mrs Ray Tucker also in town.

Pure Food Club Meeting at Mrs Leek's Ranch

Last Friday afternoon the Pure Food Club met at Mrs. Leek's ranch four miles south of town with many guests including Mrs. Abe Ward and others from nearby towns. Guests enjoyed a rhymed automovel romance contest, a draw decided the prize, and a pleasant lunch to close the gathering.

Joe Farley and family journeyed toward land near Pacific Crece seeking suitable property. Mrs J J Saunders and Rachel visited Jackson and rented Lloyd house for the upcoming school term. Work rapidly advances on the Spicer and Lloyd store with framework rising since early week as PF Simpson departed for San Diego to join Mia Sinpeon, planning to winter there and return next summer to Jackson's Hole.
