Will Open Meat Market In Jackson Next Month

H B Lloyd of Oden Utah plans a butcher shop in the rear of the W O W building in Jackson the seventh of next month with experienced staff and a first classmediated meat market. George and Ben Goo were in town Thursday. The Pure Food Club plans its annual card party at the Club House on Friday evening May 7. The next regular meeting will be May 21 at the home of Mire Harry Wagner. Charles Deloney recently returned from an outside stay and was ill briefly near Ogden but is recovering. Chester Pederson had eye surgery at J P Ranch with Dr Hutt. plowing work will resume on 320 acres near the Romey place. Al Austin leaves the big factory this week. Mr Black of Tetonia will run the machine. The big engine runs well this spring with less oil and more power. Dr C B Young of Washington DC visits Jackson for government reclamation work at Moran. B Kelly travels from Kelly on business. Citizens urged to attend mass meeting Saturday to nominate the city ticket for the May 11 election. uD Shefield and family return from Moran where tourist prospects look strong. Jackson sees many men en route to the dance at Jackson's Late. A small fire near Monjulte in the lower valley. Wm. Dew son of George Dew arrived in Jackson midweek and went to the Fish Creek ranch. Dr and Mrs C B Horel moved across Snake River last week, with the doctor returning for a second load and planning a trip to Moran then Thermopolis to manage his ranch. Kilmer Hodges and Charles Gaskell finished breaking ground on Redmond ranch and began plowing for Mone Giltner. Mrs Frances Williams spent Tuesday in town while March Peterson of Victor arrived early week to assume charge at the Lloyd and Spicer Blacksmith shop.

Will Close Year's Work At Jackson Schools

A.V. Wilson ends the year with eight and a half months of work. Examinations will be held next week. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson plan to leave for Montross Colorado where he supervises a large fruit ranch. The school work was satisfactory and locals hope he returns next year.

Nickell reports the hill road drying up and likely good for travel soon.
