The Director of Census Hon. Sam L. Rogers announces that 0 enu merators are needed to take the next census. Work starts January 2 and will run about two weeks in cities and a month or more in rural districts. Pay varies by locality.
The 1910 census pay averaged about $70 per enumerator and may rise toward $100. Sam H. Erwin, district supervisor, seeks about 200 enumerators for Iowa's 2nd District. Volunteers needed, with applications due by October 20 at 221 Masonic Temple Davenport. Also notes on The Westerners film at New Orpheum and local subscription list trimming.
