Tragedy in Davenport. two men in fatal stabbing
Richard Henery aged 44 of 419 East Ninth Street Davenport dies after a quarrel at the East Ninth Street residence Wednesday night about seven. William E. Moyer aged 39 of the same address is held on a murder charge claiming self defense. Henery allegedly drew the knife. Moyer says he stabbed to protect himself. The death followed a transfer of a single stab wound. The press notes the man’s age and residence and reports Moyer’s denial of intent.
