Barn Fire Destroys Farm Buildings and Crops
A barn fire near Lost Nelson destroyed the barn, burning twenty tons of hay and machinery. Three horses were saved but 140 bushels of corn burned and a crib was damaged by sparks. The owner Frank Hohn is in critical condition after exposure. Nearby residents face various illnesses and quarantines as the community reports illnesses and school renovations.
