Jail Delivery Partially Successful As Man Recovers Escaped Prisoners
Page the Movie Man in Clinton county jail, serving a bootlegging sentence, captured one of two escaped prisoners, Eimer, while the other, R C Smith, remained at large. Sheriff Ramsey led a search party that encountered Cook who resisted capture. The escape involved twelve county jail inmates including Red Schrader awaiting murder charges, with minutes left before further escapes were planned.
