Local Social News and Commencement Plans in May 1921
Numerous Sunday visits and family gatherings are noted from Welton and nearby towns. Commencement exercises for the A. H. S. will be held in May with a Baccalaureate sermon at the Lutheran church and a commencement program at Seburbon’s opera house featuring Rev. S. Bredow, Mr. G. W. Fuller, and Principal Tinkle among others. The district prepares for a postmistress transition as E Flagel resigns and a new postmaster is to be named after a May 28 examination.
