Rhoda Hughs Dunkin born Fulton Illinois March 5 1834 moved to Jackson county in 1846, married Reuben Kauffman June 30 1864. three daughters Luella Leta and Marjorie with grandchildren and a great grandson. Mrs Kauffman endured cancer, sought treatment in Kansas City and Iowa City, cared for by daughters Leta and Marjorie, passed June 20 at age 76. Funeral held at West Locust Street home and Buckhorn cemetery with Rev Boam ershine officiating.
