Jackson County Chapter of the American Red Cross established a Home Service office in the Cook Building with Miss Bessie Joiner as Executive Secretary. The office will assist soldiers and families with allotments pay travel pay Liberty Bonds and other veteran benefits and encourage those with lapsed insurance to reinstate or convert to government policies. Office hours are 10 to 11 am and 2 to 4 pm.
