Shore AcresPlot of a Maine play in a storm drama
The piece tells of Helen, daughter of stern lighthouse keeper Martin Berry, who defies him by eloping with banker Josiah Blake aboard the ship Liddy Ann. In rage Martin bars the beacon light to wreck the vessel, forcing a desperate two man clash to save or ruin the ship as the storm rages and the passengers face peril. The presentation promises thrills and tender moments in a forest-American stage drama.
