A lot sale is planned at Apple Creek cemetery on Saturday September 28 to fund a new fence and other property improvements. Proceeds from the sale will support surrounding cemetery upkeep and enhancements.

The Missouri Sheep Breeders Association holds its annual meeting October 9 at 10 a.m. in the Dairy building auditorium at the Missouri State Fair grounds Sedalia. Officers auditing committee and bylaw report will be presented and a full slate of officers elected. All sheepmen invited to attend and promote more and better sheep for Missouri.
Mrs Anna Christian died at age 27 after a devoted life to her husband Jackson Christian and family. She joined the Baptist church at Round Pond in 1894 and was baptised by Elder Maddox. Survived by an aged father and one brother, her loss is mourned by many relatives and friends. She died in faith, hopeful of Heaven.

They warn of bad ties and defective rails from Belmont to Knobrick and east of Morley urging prompt replacements and better alignment while noting ongoing all day service and nightly round trips. The report references Robert Fulton and steam propulsion history in a concluding historical note.
