Arrest on street for carrying a dirk knife
Bob Johnson, son of John Johnson now in East St. Louis, was arrested last Monday after a long dirk knife was found in his pocket. He had bought a five dirk at a hardware store with intent to attack a black man. The incident led to his arrest by Marshal Macke.

The 2 cent rate bill signed by the Governor will become law after June 1. The County School Supervision would become law if enacted before 1911. A Senate bill grants electric streetcar firms the same right of eminent domain for right of way as railroads. Pastor's Disturbing the Peace Trial Near Pocahontas
