Mr CC Hester has purchased the Vidette and Dr Carmack will assume the editorial chair, signaling a leadership transition at the paper. The takeover returns editorial direction to Dr Carmack as the new chief.
Notice to the Public from PT Carmack announcing the Vi Dette newspaper’s new management. He states the paper will be a voice for ethical citizens, aims to build up town and county morally socially financially and educationally, and asks for patience and broad support. He notes being a Democrat and respecting minority rights and laws.
