Death of L P Bonds Supervisor in Inka district
L P Bonds longtime supervisor of the first district died at his home seven miles north of Inka on Saturday June 5 aged over eighty. He was a genial Christian man with many friends and a void now felt in church and neighborhood. His son James from Gibson City Tenn arrived soon after. Burial was Sunday afternoon at the family burying ground under Masonic auspices with a funeral sermon by Rev J R James.

T M Grisham displayed a Civil War pistol from Murfreesboro Dec 31 1862 carried by him in the 9th Miss infantry. The editor abandoned plans to publish all reunion visitors due to the crowd.
