AHS students held a big dinner and lively activities last Thursday. The ball game Juka vs little team ended 22 to 0 for AHS. Belmont won the debate on woman suffrage over Tishomingo. A Thanksgiving gathering at the school featured a dinner by Mrs Chalmers and a candy sale by Mrs J S Thorne to raise funds. Patrons praised the meal and events, urging more visitors to support teachers and pupils. A candy breaking and dancing followed, with notes of a new house project for Buck Sanders and a pastor Mr W J White involved in the celebration.
