Two Day Rock Festival Draws Teens at DuPage Fair Grounds
Bell bottom styles and long hair shaped Wheaton's weekend as the Fourth Entity Pop Music Festival drew over 500 youths to the DuPage County Fair Grounds. Ides of March and Nancy Haglund performed atop a spider stage near the North Western tracks while vendors offered blocks, posters and horoscopes. Admission ran 7.50 to 9.50 dollars for two days and the promoter faced a disappointing turnout with ten percent of profits pledged to St. Jude. Ushers controlled gatecrashers and some mild chaos circulated amid sunburn and social vibes.
