Denton C Crowl the portrayalist appears at Wondman Hall Ismay on November 3 portraying the late Sam P Jones. A critic notes Crowl closely mimics Jones in speech and manner while delivering uplifting takedowns of sham and hypocrisy.
Knowlton notes report Mr Shewmaker of Iowa visiting his brother Rolla Shewmaker. Loran Todd travels to Savannah Missouri for winter with pa. Road gang near Brackett ranch to be reinforced by Reece George John Portman and Bill Parker. Miss Bess Carmichael returns from Teachers Institute. School opens Monday with full attendance.
