J Bruce Ismay writes from London to Earl E Gaines secretary of Ismay Commercial Club conveying thanks for a town name change suggestion. The self dated hand letter discusses not changing the town name despite the Titanic disaster criticism and asks for the decision.
In a dialogue with Mr Schmidt the bank cashier explains that despite deposits being safe there is not enough currency to meet demand. Depositors receive clearing house certificates instead and are told they can withdraw later when safe. The dialogue likens the situation to a mother offering milk with a milk ticket.

Trigg abandoned homestead entry number one filed January 11 1910 for the NW 1/4 section 18 township 11 north range 64 west Montana meridian. The contestant alleges abandonment of the land for over six months with no improvements and seeks cancellation after the fourth publication.
