Local notes and health updates from the creek to Miles

Miss Sylvia White spent the weekend at Miles while the assessor made rounds on our creek last week. Geo Bent’s son recovers from pneumonia as James Boden advances four hundred acres with his steam engine and crew. Chas Carey stays in bed with heart and stomach trouble under a doctor’s care. North Cottonwood work stalls due to moisture but farming tools are in use now.

Knowlton Notes School Closes May 25

Knowlton notes announce the school will close on May 25. Heywood Daly and wife return from Hunter's Springs. Farmers busy sowing grain and garden work. W. T. Stevens at home improving in health. Miss Mabel Lawrence plans a summer in Ismay and gave a farewell party April 28. Mrs. Sam Kochel hosted the Mothers Club despite rain. Attendees at the county stock meeting included Dan Bowman Monte Archdale Heywood Daly Dorothy Broadbent J. H. Price H. B. Wood and Elbert Bowman.
