Woman breaks leg on boat trip at Burlington Island park
Mrs. Mary E. Fries aged 73 of 856 North Fortieth street was injures when she tripped over a hawser on a returning boat from a Burlington Island park church picnic. Her daughter Cynthia Fries witnessed the fall. Dr William C Barrett treated her injuries aboard and Dr R B Wolf improvised splints before she was taken to Presbyterian hospital.
