American colonial prints form Perry gallery for boy heir
Marsden J. Perry of Providence has placed a private gallery of colonial prints in his Newport Ocean Drive home to teach his son Marsden Jr. patriotism and U S history. The collection, carved gilded frames, includes Washington entering New York after Trenton and Franklin at foreign courts. The mansion remains closed to all but servants as the family plans seasonal arrival.
