Condensed notes from Plevna report Joseph Markwardt travels west toward Westmore on Thursday and Ole Hoffman rides to Beach North Dakota with a group of horses. Mr Iverson of Ives North Dakota visited last Thursday. Rumor says the Plevna Exchange may change hands. The Bussian family moved away with Mr Bemplegoing to North Dakota to work a section and Mrs Bussian running a Baker restaurant. Gas and ice company Bell and Peoples plowed north of Plevna then moved to Ismay to begin 1000 acres of their own, owning six sections near Ismay. Jim Flaws becomes engineer for a steam plow owned by Ringrose and the livery barn will close briefly. A concrete crew is building temporary HQ at Plevna and laying a three mile west of town bridge, expected to stay all summer.
