Susan Hammond to sing own work at Vietnam Memorial event
Irvine resident Susan Hammond will perform her composition Standin Tall during a 16 hour concert marking the 20th anniversary of the Vietnam Memorial in Washington D C on November 6. She described Standin Tall as a continuation of her earlier song I Want to Thank You inspired by a veteran's gratitude and a 1999 incident in Westminster.
